1 Smooth muscleeffects: Citrus grandis‘Tomentosa’could shift the concentration-response curves of histamine. Acetylcholine andKCl, BaCl2, CaCl2 to the rightward and the maximaleffects were decreased. In addition, BaCl2> KCl > CaCl2 >His >Ach could affect thecontraction of calcium transporting into cell [1].

2 Dissolving sputum andAnti-inflammation: Citrus grandis ‘Tomentosa’possess the role of dissolving sputum and anti-inflammation, the role intensityof MJH was bigger than that of GJH. The quality of MJH is better than GJH atthe angle of pharmacodynamics. It is coincident with the traditional opinionthat the genuine material is good [2,3].
