[Clinical trial] | Long-term fever of malignant tumor: 34 cases of patients were treated with Qinghaozhimu decoction and no glucocorticoid and NSAID were used. Decoction was taken one prescription each day and continually 14~28 days. Results: 22 cases had significant effect, eight cases had effect, four cases were invalid[1]. |

1. Cold sydrome leading to superficial and slippery pulse, exterior heat, interior cold, or combination of three-yang (Taiyang, Yangming and Shaoyang) syndrome, abdominal distention, heavy body, inability to turn back, numbness of mouth, dirty complexion, delirious speech, enruesis. Delirious speech will be more severe when diaphoresis is accompanied, the forehead will sweat and the extremities are cold when cathartic medicine is used. Or slippery and cold pulse with interior heat due to cold sydrome. 2. Stomach-heat, discomfort of heart, full and rapid in six pulses, or hematochezia due to cold sydrome 3. Yellow complexion, emaciation, susceptible to fear, loss of mind, lassitude movement due to qi-deficiency and overstrains. Cough and feverish sensation in the morning, cool body and clear mind in the afternoon, rapid pulse with hot syndrome. 4. For the patient with lung consumption and heat, qi-reinforcing medicinal can not be applied. 5. Predominance heat due to yin deficiency, hectic fever, night sweat, cough, hemoptysis, feverish sensation, insusceptible to hungry. Hot pain in feet and knees, red tongue with a little coating, rapid and strong Chi pulse. 6. Spermatorrhea 7. Restlessness during pregnancy due to administration of medicine, which brings to the mothers' incapability to sleep. 8. Adipsia, urinary obstruction due to heat in blood phase of lower Jiao. |
