1.Effect on immune function of: (1) humoralimmune function : polysaccharide conjugates of White Tremella and lentinan has significantlyimproved HC50^[1] of tumor-bearing mice S-180. (2) effect oncell immune function : in vitro, polysaccharides from White Tremella can induce human lymphocyte transformation, itsactivity is similar to plant lectins; in vivo ,it can improve the conversionrate of leukemia in human lymphocytes ^[2]. It can significantly enhance the splenic lymphocyte proliferation inmice, while it is obviously antagonistic cells of immunosuppression induced by6-Mercaptopurine ^[3]. In vitro , polysaccharide conjugates of White Tremella achieved immunecells regulation function ^[4]. (3) Effect on nonspecific immune function polysaccharide conjugates of White Tremella and lentinan canincrease nonspecific immune function of tumor-bearing mice ^[5]. (4) Effect on immunological organ weights  polysaccharides from White Tremella can significantly increase the weights of spleen in mice,by subcutaneous injection (100mg/kg)^[6].

2.Effect on anti-tumor: polysaccharidesfrom White Tremella and IL-2 has synergistic effects on activating spleen cellsand antitumor, but no discernible impact on the main organ in the body ^[7].It also plays a protective role in the hematopoietic function of radiation andchemical damage in mice ^[8].

3. Anti-aging: polysaccharides from White Tremellaenhanced immune function and played anti-aging effects ^[9]. At thesame time, it can significantly be against d-Galactose-induced mice onConA-induced inhibition of lymphocyte transformation, increase the contents of IL-2and IL-6 in aging mice, which indicates that polysaccharides from Tremella canenhance immune function in aging mice, promote the proliferation of cells,prevents aging ^[10].

4.lowering blood sugar and lipid: threedoses of 250, 500 and 1000mg/kg of polysaccharides from White Tremella cansignificantly reduce levels of blood glucose in diabetic mice induced byalloxan, reduce hyperglycemia animal and normal animal blood sugar levels,increase serum insulin level ^[11]. Polysaccharides from WhiteTremella may prevent the formation of hypercholesterolemia mice ^[12].

5.blood anticoagulant and antithrombotic: Polysaccharidesfrom White Tremella in vitro and in vivo applications. Different routes of administrationhave a significantly strong anticoagulant activity,it works best particularlyin the oral ^[13]. The doses 27.8mg/kg and 41.7mg/kg of polysaccharidesfrom White Tremella by intraperitoneal injection in rabbit, can significantlyextend specific thrombosis and fibrin thrombi formation time, reduce the lengthof thrombus, the number of platelets and blood viscosity and platelet adhesionrate; decrease the plasma fibrinogen, high fibrinolytic enzyme,which shows thatit has distinct antithrombotic effect ^[14].

6.anti-radiation: The three doses 6mg/kg,12mg/kg, 24mg/kg of polysaccharides from White Tremella has a protective rolein hematopoietic system induced by 137Csγ-ray irradiation in mice ^[8]. 

1.
