1. Antiarrhythmic: 50mg/kg intraperitoneal injection of 0.5% Shidi extract can significantly against mice ventricular fibrillation induced by chloroform; also against arrhythmia induced by aconitine, barium chloride; Shidi extract 12.5mg/kg/d intraperitoneal injection for 5 consecutive days, can antitoxic guinea pig ventricular arrhythmias caused by lanatoside G (wow Pakistan)[1]. 2. Sedation: Shidi extract 100mg/kg intraperitoneal injection, allows spontaneous activity decreased significantly, and enhance the hypnotic effect of the subthreshold dose of sodium pentobarbital, to extend their sleep time. Significantly antagonize vertical tail response of mice caused by morphine [1]. 3. Anti-fertility: preliminary confirmed that Shidi has a certain degree of anti-fertility effect in the rabbit anti-fertility screening, Shidi handl’s anti-fertility is better than Shidi "pedicle", its handle anti-fertility rate is 79.6% [2]. |
