1. The normal hexane extract of Semen Raphani could improve the gastrointestinal movement of mice, and produce a notable kinetogenic effect on colonic smooth muscle strips in rats^[1,2].

2. The soluble Semen Raphani alkaloids could reduce the blood pressure of spontaneous hypertensive rats(SHR), and the hypotensive function of the Semen Raphani may be related to its NO-NOS system activation^[3].

3. The extracts of Semen Raphani isolated with different solvents exhibit a antitussive, expectorant and antiasthmatic activities^[4]. 

1. Habitual constipation: fried laifuzi (Radish Seed) decoction, 7 days for the 1 course. According to the severity of the disease, it can be repeatedly several courses. Results showed that in 54 cases, 39 cases were cured, 13 cases were markedly effective, 2 cases were invalid, the total effective rate was 96.2%^[1]。

2. Clozapine-induced constipation: fried laifuzi (Radish Seed) decoction. Results showed that in 68 cases, 32 cases were cured, 18 cases were markedly effective, 13 cases were effective, and 5 cases were invalid. The total efficiency was 92.65%. In 68 cases, the taking effective time last 6 hours to 3days^[2]。

3.Postoperative abdominal distention:①270 cases treated with compound laifuzi(Radish Seed) powder ( laifuzi(Radish Seed), muxiang(Radix aucklandiae), Danggui(angelica sinensis),chuanxiong(Rhizoma Chuanxiong), rougui(Cinnamon),etc ) covered on Shenque acupoint, 1 times changed drug in 4 hours, after observation of 48h, Results showed that the prevention of postoperative abdominal distention in 210 cases, 98 cases were markedly effective, 112 cases effective, the total effective rate was 100%; the treatment of postoperative abdominal distention in 270 cases, 192 cases were markedly effective, 76 cases, 2 cases were invalid, the total efficiency was 99.3%^[3]. ②laifuzi(Radish Seed) microwave heating covered on the navel and the navel abdomen foment. Results showed that in 60 cases, 38 cases were markedly effective, 22 cases effective, the total effective rate was 100%^[4]。

4. Distention after Stroke: laifuzi (Radish Seed) made to the powder, added rice wine, covered on the umbilical hole. 1 times changed drug in 12 hours. Results showed that in 15 cases, 9 cases were effective after treated for 12 ~ 48h, 4 cases were effective after treated for 48 to 72h, 2 cases were invalid^[5]。

5. Postoperative urinary retention: after operation, laifuzi(Radish Seed) covered on Shenque acupoint. Results showed that in 183 cases, 103 cases had significant effective, 72 cases had effective, 8 cases were invalid, the total efficiency was 95.63%^[6]。

6.Chloasma: fried laifuzi(Radish Seed) crushed, 2 ~ 3 times daily before meals, 1 months for 1 courses, 2 to 3 courses of treatment continully. Follow-up in the first half of the year. Results showed in 83 cases, 28 cases were cured ( 33.7%), 42 cases had significant effective ( 50.6%), 13 cases improved ( 15.6%), the total efficiency was 100%^[7]。

7.Primary hypertension:①70 cases treated with laifuzi(Radish Seed) tablets. Results showed that 31 cases were markedly effective, 29 cases effective, 10 cases were invalid, the total efficiency was 85.7%, after 1～ 5 weeks, 75.3% cases appeared maximum pressure reduced ^[8]。②30 cases treated with oral erzijiangya decoction ( laifuzi(Radish Seed)20g, juemingzi(Obtuseleaf Senna Seed)10g ) ,100ml each time, 3 times a day, 2 week for a course, 2 courses of treatment. Results showed that 19 cases were markedly effective, 9 cases effective, 2 cases were invalid, the total efficiency was 93.3%^[9]
