1. Anti-platelet-aggregation：Rabbits, given with amomum (0.6g/kg, 1.2g/kg,),have a inhibition on administration of ADP-induced platelet aggregation, as the dose is increased, the role of time is extended accordingly. Amomum has protective effects on arachidonic acid or collagen and epinephrine mixture in mice induced by acute death, this protective effect of Amomum have some matter with dilation of blood vessels or inhibition of thromboxane synthesis [1].,in addition to inhibition of platelet aggregation.

2. Anti-ulcer effect：Amomum (0.3g/kg, 0.6g/kg, 1.2g/kg),bound immersion stress ulcer in mice was significantly inhibited; amomum at 0.6g/kg orally, can significantly reduce in rats gastric acid secretion; test-tube experiments show that, the amomum can significantly inhibit the stomach enzymes to digest proteins [2]. The amomum, which inhibit the role of gastric acid secretion, may promote gastric mucosal cells to release prostaglandins, resulting in gastric acid secretion by inhibition of the results [3].

3. Affection on Intestinal smooth muscle：Amomum seed extract (5g/L, 1.2g/L, 4g/L) can significantly strengthen the rhythmic movement of guinea pig ileum and increase contraction amplitude. Large doses can weaken tension, reduce the amplitude, and can antagonize acetylcholine and barium chloride on intestinal excitatory effect. The Amomum can promote intestinal movement in mice, enhance gastrointestinal transport aircraft[4,5].

4. Other effects：The acetic acid writhing test showed that the amomum (0.3g/kg, 0.6g/kg, 1.2g/kg), administered orally to mice, have a significant analgesic effect and a significant reduction in the number of mouse antibody cell [1].
