| [Clinical trial] | Xiakucao (selfheal) 1. Pulmonarytuberculosis: xiakucao(selfheal) 100g, water decoction,oral, 2-3times; or 10kg xiakucao(selfheal) add water decoct to 5L, add brownsugar 1kg to make paste, 2 times a day, 8-15ml every time, treat pulmonarytuberculosis (infiltration type, chronic fiber empty type, tuberculosis spreadtype), one month for a course. Results: the symptom such as cough, chest pain,cough up phlegm, fever, hemoptysis all disappeared or relieve, the focusimproved in different levels. For the haemoptysis of phthisis, can use 50g xiakucao(selfheal),100g millet wine add right amount of water to decoction, steam to no winy andfilter, adults every time 20-40ml, 3-4 times a day, have hemostasis effective. 2. Exudativepleuritis: 500g xiakucao (selfheal), add 2000ml water, decoct to1000-1200ml. 30-50ml oral every time, 3 times a day. Cooperate with othersymptomatic treatments when necessary, but don't add chemotherapy drugs.Results: 9 cases of exudative pleuritis, except 2 improved cases leave hospitalautomatically, the others were all cured. An average of 35.6 days in hospital,recede fever 7.7 days, amass liquid absorption 24.7 days. 3. Bacillary dysentery: 100g xiakucao (selfheal), soak 10h,slow fire decoct about 2h, 4 times a day, 7days a course. Or make 100% fluidextract by selfheal dry flower, little child 1-2ml every time every year old,adult 20-30ml every time, 2-3times every day. Results: abatement of fever on aaverage of 3 days, tenesmus and defecate times disappeared or become normal ona average of 4-6days, abdominal pain and mucosa pathological changes slower,average of 10days, side effect was not found during the medication period. 4. Acute icteric infectious hepatitis: 75 cases of acuteicteric infectious hepatitis were treated mainly with selfheal, of which 62cases reached clinical cure standards. |
