The fruit contains oleanolic acid, acetyloleanolic acid, ursolic acid, acetylursolic acid, p-hydroxyphenethyl alcohol, 3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl alcohol, β-sitosterol, mannitol, eriodictyol, taxifolin, quercetin, ligustroside, 10-hydroxy ligustroside, nuezhenide, oleuropein, 10-hydroxy oleuropein, p-hydroxyphenethyl-β-D-glucoside, 3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl-β-D-glucoside, methyl-α-D-galactopyranoside, acteoside, neonuezhenide, ligustrosidic acid, oleuropeinic acidand secoiridoid glycoside ( GI-3 )^[1],  apigenin-7-O-acetyl-β-D-glucoside, apigenin-7-O-β-D-lutinoside, luteolin^[2], p-hydroxyphenethyl-α-D- glucoside ^[3], quercitrin ^[4], α-ursolic acid methyl ester, tormentic acid^[5]. It contains polysaccharide(constituted by rhamnose, arabinose, glucose, fucose), seven phospholipids ( the maximum content was phosphatidyl choline ), eleven elements (K、Ca、Mg、Na、Zn、Fe、Mn、Cu、Ni、Cr、Ag). The seed contains ligustrin. It contain 8-epikingiside ^[1].

The leaf contains oleanolic acid, p-hydroxyphenylethyl alcohol, cosmosiin, luteolin-7-glucoside, syringin, ursolic acid^[1].

The seed contains palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolelaidic acid, linolenic acid ^[6], aspaitic acid serine, glutamic acid, valine, methionine, isoleucine ^[7].

1. Canker sores；Take Fresh Nvzhenzi leaves in ulcer surface for 10 to 20 seconds that canstop pain, self-conscious symptom disappears, within 3 days ulcer surface ishealing. Pain of 11 cases was stopped in 10 to 20 seconds after treatment , accountingfor 22%; Pain of 23 cases was stopped in 20 to 25 seconds after treatment , accountingfor 46%, Pain of 15 cases was stopped in 25 to 30 seconds , accounting for 30%,Morethan 30 seconds the pain of 1 case was not stoped , accounting for 2%; Theexcellent-good rate was 68% ^[1].

2. Prevent recurrence of acuteness wet wart : The Verrucous body oftreatment group was carbonized used the GX-type III multi-function electric ioninstrument. Postoperative Intramuscular injection of thymosin injection 20 mgqd, five times per week, 4 weeks as a course of treatment. Treated with Fuzhengnvzhenzi2 tablets per time, three times per day, for 4 weeks. The control group onlyuse carbon dioxide laser treatment. The treatment group has eight (18.187%)patients relapse, the control group have 20 cases (52.63%) recurrence.
