3.Effect on Immune Function: Water extract can obviously enhance specific immunity and cellular immune function and without effect on humoral immunity on mice[5,7]. Both 20% diluted alcohol extract and compound S2,S3 and S8 can enhance lymphocyte activity[6]. Eclipta acetic ether extract show immunoloregulation action on cellular immunity[8-11].

4. Effect on Thymus Cell: Water extract inhibit mice thymus cell apoptotic induced by cyclophosphamide[12].

5. Anti Mutagenesis: Water- soluble extractive inhibit erythrocytes micronucleus induced by cyclophosphamide[13].

8. Anti-Oxidant and Stay Caducity: Eclipta extract can enhance superoxide dismutase, glutathion peroxidase, Na+-K+-ATP and Ca2+-ATP enzyme activity and cut down malondialdehyde content through scavenge free radicals[17-21]. And it can enhance learning and memory ability and increase the hypoxia tolerance on mice[19,22].

9. Other Effects: Eclipta show anticancer[1], sedative, analgesia[14] and detoxication activity also[23].
