Antifungal activity: Theantibacterial tests showed that the Fibraureae Caulis Alkaloids extracted from Common Fibraurea Stemhave various degrees of inhibitory effects on theCoriolis epidermis dermatophytes and other 12 kinds of fungi; a shallow or deepCandida albicans have a good efficacy [1]. |

[Clinical trial] | Rheumatoid arthritis: 40 cases of patients were treated with Tenghuanglian decoction (Tenghuanglian, Baijieteng, Maodongqing, Sanyeqingteng, Tongzhuan, Zhongjiefeng). Patients drank this decoction twice each day, 30 days as one course of treatment. Results showed that 33 cases were cure(82.5%), three cases had significant effect(75%) and four cases have effect(10%) during one course of treatment[1]. |
