Cayratia japonica gagnep herb can significantly inhibit adenosine diphosphate,collagen-induced platelet aggregation, Moreover, it also significantlyinhibited the kaolin partial thromboplastin time and thrombin time [8].

4 Immunological function: Cayratia japonica gagnep herb could decrease the weight of thymus and spleen inim-munosuppresive mice, and strengthen phagocytosis of reticuloendothelialsystem in normal and im-munosuppresive mice. At the same time, Cayratiajaponica gagnep herb could improve lymphocytetransformation and had noobvious effects on IL-2 activity in immunosuppresive mice and increased cellularimmunity function [7,9].

5 Toxicity: Cayratia japonica gagnep herb decoction alcohol liquidis intraperitoneal injected to mice, resulting in the median lethal dose (LD50)51.12g/kg, that of Cayratia japonica gagnep herb alcohol extract is the LD50 for 102.8g/kg[7].
