3. Hibiscus sabdafiffa Lcalyx also possesses antioxidativeantitumour, ardiovascular-protection, hepatprotective, cathartic and diuretic effects[3].

 
[Clinical trial]

The author applied fanshiliu decoction (the folk herbal medicine in Minnan area named Fanshiliu as main drug, and mixed with meiguiqie(Roselle Calyxx), Wumei(Fructus Mume), Danshen(Salvia Miltiorrhiza Bge)) to type -2 diabetes in 14 cases, it obtained satisfactory effects.
