Juemingzi(Semen cassiae)

Hyperlipidemia: (1) juemingzi(Semen cassiae) syrup(every 100 ml contains raw drug 75g, sugar content 40-45g), oral administration 20ml every time, 3 times aday, 2 months as a course of treatment. 48 cases of hyperlipidemia were treated.Result: this product has a obvious effect on reduce the blood fat, the effectiverate of reduce cholesterol levels, TC, β-lipoproteins were 95.8%, 86.7% and89.5% respectively, ^[1]. (2) The extrusion preparation of Compoundof caojueming, 2 bags a day, instead of tea drink. 4weeks as a course oftreatment. Treatment 43 hyperlipidemia patients. Result: 18 significant effective,22 effective, and 3 ineffective about TC. The total effective rate was 93%; 18 significanteffective, 23 effective, and 2 ineffective about TG. Total effective rate was95.3% ^[2].

Colpitis mycotica: Cooperate with the oral medicine, takecaojuemign(semen cassiae)50g, addright amount of water, boiling about 15 min, filter and sitz bath with thefiltrate, 15~20 min each time, 2 times a day, 7 days for a course of treatment.Result: 25 patients were cured of the 30 cases after 1~3 course of treatment(83.33%). 3 effective (10%), and 2 ineffective (6.60%). The total effectiverate was 93.40% ^[3]. Caojueming 50g add 2000~2500ml water boiled 4~5min, take the juice. Sitz bath with spouse about 15~30 min after cooling,without sex during the treatment. Result: symptoms disappeared and thesecretion obviously reduced 3 dayslater; symptoms totally disappear and microscopic examination cannot findnon-spore bacteria and pseudohypha after 1 week ^[6].

Habitualconstipation: raw caojuemign 60g, fried yellow and instead of tea drinkinguntil the boiling water did not yellow. 60g each time, 2 times a day, 2 weeks for acourse of treatment, intractable constipationpatients can take a month. Insufficiency of the spleen loose stool and thehypotension patients forbidden because of the cold nature. Result: 86 caseswere cured 65 cases, 18 improved, and 3 ineffective. The cured rate was 75.58%,the total effective rate was 96.51%. No obvious adverse effective observedduring the treatment [5]. Caojueming 4~5g stir-fry until done, add right amountof honey, add boiling water for tea drink. 6 days for a course of treatment.Result: 75% patients can defecate after a period of treatment, others need tostop takw one day, and then start the second course, it also can promotedefecate, accouting for 25%, and no adverse effect observation.

Hordeolum:caojueming 30g add 1000 ml water, decoct to 400 ml, oral a time, daily 1 agent,children discretionary reduction. Result: all cured, the follow-up half year,no recurrence [7].

Gynecomastia: caojuemign 25~50g(raw) instead of tea drink, or pressure to powder, every time 25g, 2 times aday, take it with boiling water. This medicine has fragrance taste, and noadverse effect after take it, individual patient can appear diarrhea, notprocessing. Treatment 12 cases, all cured [8].
