1. Effect on Central Nervous System: Stem methanol infusions prolong hour of sleep in mice induced by thiopental sodium, against rabbit excitation induced by methamphetamine.Futher study show that (+)demethylationtracheloside may the active compound[1].

2. Anti-inflammatory: Indian stringbush root tablet showed obviously anti-inflammatory action in rat and mice. Daphnoretin obviously abatement rat swelling food induced by 5-TH, blood serum, carrageenan and formaldehyde; mice pinna inflammation induced by xylene; rat air cyst granulation tissue hyperplasia induced by croton oil[2,3].

3. Antibacterial Action: bark and leaf water solution show inhibit action on staphylococcus aureus, hemolytic streptococcus, pneumococcus[2].

5. Anticancer: Daphnoretin show concentration dependent inhibit AGZY-83-a, Hep2, HepG2 cell proliferation. The IC50 value is 8.73, 9.71, 31.34μg/ml respectively[5].

6.Cancer Promoting Action: Diethyl ether and water extracting solution bouth can evoke early antigen in Rsji cell EB viruses and lymphocytic transformation induced by EB viruses.[6,7].

1. Sciatica: 125g Liaogewang and 65g Haitongpi were boiled with water and got the decoction, then 500g female chicken were added into the decoction and cook for four hours. 100 cases of patients were treated, one prescription every three days, two prescription as one course of treatment. Results: 91 cases were cured, nine cases had significant effects, five cases had effects. 15 cases were cured after the first course, 29 cases after the second ccourse, 30 cases after the third course, nine cases after the fourth course, eight cases after the filth course. The overall effective rate was 100％^[1].

2. PHN: 30 cases of patients in treatment group were treated with Liaogewang tablet, three times a day, three tablet for each time. Another 26 cases in control group were treated with vitamin B12 injection, indomethacin tablet and vitamin E pill. Both group were took a week as one course of treatment and treated three course continually. Results: in the treatment group, 18 cases were cured, seven cases had significant effects, two cases had effects, three cases were invaild, the cured rate was 60%, effective rate was 23.33%; in the control group, eight cases were cured, seven cases had significant effects, five cases had effects, six cases were invalid, the cured rate was 30.77%, effective rate was 26.92％. results showed that the cured rate of treatment group was better than the control group, and no side effects were found in both groups^[2].

3. Ulcerative dermatosis: 200 cases of patients were treated with Liaogewang tablet, three times a day, three tablet for each time. According the patients' condition, treat time was 3~4 days, and Erythomycin cream, Fuyanning linimentum and Xiaoyanzhitong cream were used to assist the treatment. Results: the cured rate of impetigo was 72%, the overall effective rate was 90.70%; the cured rate of erysipelas was 38.50%, the overall effective rate was 81.50%^[3].

4. Acute respiratory tract infection: 258 cases of patients in treatment group were treated with Liaogewang tablet. Another 147 cases in control group were treated with Ganmaoqing capsule and cephalexin capsule(if patient accompany trachitis or pneumonia), seven days as one course of treatment for both groups. Results: in the treatment group, cured rate was 39.53%, the overall effective rate was 87.98%, which were better than control group(24.9% and 74.1%, P<0.05). Effects of the upper respiratory tract infection in both groups were similar(P>0.05). But treatment effects of acute and chronic trachitis and pneumonia in treatment group were better than control group(P<0.05), especially for the treatment of acute trachitis(P<0.01). The effective rate of treatment group was 95.12% while 75.61% for control group^[4]. 

5. Mammitis: 50 cases of patients were treated with Sanyueliaogewang tablet, oral administration three times a day, three tablet for each time; then another tablets were mash up with warm water and applied on the affect area, three days as one course of treatment. Results: 25 cases were cured, 21 cases had effects, four cases were invalid ^[5].

6. Vaginitis: 300 cases of patients were treated with Sanyeliaogewang tablet in both oral and external application. Oral administration: three times a day, three tablet for each time. External application: two tablets of metronidazole and nystatin were mash up with water and were used to wash the vagina, the two tablets of Sanyueliaogewang were insert the vagina. If wart viral was accompany patients, microwave treatment were needed as well. Course of treatment was set on ten days and treated with three course continually. Results showed that 235 cases were cured, 54 cases' condition had improved, 11 cases were invalid, the overall effective rate was 96.3%^[6].

7. Children deradenoncus: 156 cases of patients in treatment group were treated with Sanyueliaogewang tablet. Another 142 cases in control group were treated with penicilin injection, follow by penbritin capsule(substituted by erythromycin ethylsuccinate if allergic to penbritin). 12 days as one course of treatment for both groups. Treatment was ceased if lymph gland had shrank to normal side. Results: in the treatment group, 72 cases were cured, 77 cases had effects, the overall effective rate was 95.51%; in the control group, 46 cases were cured, 70 cases had effects, the overall effective rate was 81.69%. significant difference was obtain when compared each others (P<0.05)^[7].
