1 Anti-fertility effects: Ardisiae Crenatae Radixethanol extract had the anti-fertility effect, however, Ardisiae Crenatae Radixtriterpenoid saponins have anti-early pregnancy [1]. In addition, thetriterpenoid saponins from Ardisiae Crenatae Radixhad excited effects on adult mice, guinea pigs and rabbits, the role ofexcitatory H1 receptors affect the prostaglandin synthetase system [2].

2 Relieving cough and asthma: Ardisiae Crenatae Radixis the active ingredient of Bergenin, which can relieve cough intensity [3].

3 Insecticidal activity: Compounds from Ardisiae Crenatae RadixC49H75N7-O15 25ppm can inhibit the mosquito, gray snails, mites and otherinsects [3].
