Anticancer: Chloroform extract from yam bean seed show conspicuous cytotoxic to leukemic cell(P388). Rotenone and 12-α-hydroxyrotenone show conspicuous cytotoxic to nasopharyngeal cancer KB and KB-Ⅵ cell[1].

Liangshu (jicama)

1Treatment for leukemia because liangshu seed extract have obvious cytotoxicactivity on lymphocytic leukemia cells, it used to be develop as a leukemiadrugs ^[1].
