1 Pyrrosiasheareri 1.1 Antitussive,Antiasthmaand Expectorant effect: 1.2 Anti-inflammatory:Pyrrosia had therapeutic effect on chronic bronchitis. 2 Pyrrosiapetiolosa 2.1 Antitussive and expectorant effect: MicePyrrosia petiolosa extract (decoction) and mangiferin have significantantitussive effect (sulfur dioxide induced cough method), but was less thancodeine. Pyrrosia ethanol extract a significant antitussive effect (ammoniaspray induced cough method). Fumarate 2g/kg, caffeic acid 0.3g/kg, or mangiferin0.8g/kg cited cough and had antitussive effect.
