This plant contains fructose, glucose, sucrose, demethyl homolycorine, norpluviine, lycorine, homolycorine, pluviine, pseudolycorine, lycorenine, lycoramine, tazettine, galanthamine, hippeastrine, 2-epigalanthamine, vittatine, haemanthidine, lycoricidinol, lycoricidine, p-hydroxyphenylacetic acid, O-demethyllycoramine, pretazettine, O-β-D-fructofuranosyl-（2→1）-O-β-D-fructofuranosyl-α-D-glucopyranoside, O-β-D-fructofuranosyl-[（2→1）-O-β-D-fructofuranosyl]2-α-D-glucopyranoside, O-β-D-fructofuranosyl-[（2→1）-O-β-D-frutofuranosyl]3α-D-glucopyranoside, O-β-D-frutofuranosyl-[（2→1）-O-β-D-fructofuranosyl]4-α-D-glucopyranoside, lycoris-R-glucomannan^[1].

1. Anti-tumor and anti-virus: This product contains the pseudo Lycorine that has the efficacy of anticancer and antiviral. It inhibits rats W256 carcinosarcoma and human cervical cancer Hela cells; it also has inhibition of the Mice lymphocytic fluffy choriomeningitis virus, Encephalomyocarditis virus and Japanese encephalitis virus [1].
